The mission of the STL Law Library is to support the curriculum of STL and the scholarship and teaching of STL faculty. We are committed to providing services and collections to support this goal.
The Law Library provides a tailored collection to support the teaching and scholarship of the STL faculty. Our collection emphasizes transnational law, U.S. law and Chinese law. The Law Library in the STL Building houses textbooks, reference sources, student study aids, other materials needed to support the curriculum of STL, and materials specifically requested by STL faculty. In all,the collections comprise more than 2500 titles.
The Legal Research Center in University Town Library also holds over 15000 volumes of treatises, scholarly books, selected U.S. legal materials, and scholarly materials that support faculty and students research.
The STL Law Library subscribes to more than 60 commercial databases related to legal and legislative information for the U.S. and around the globe. Check the availability for each item for more information.
STL Law Library is located in the STL Building. We provide table seating for 44 readers and 2 group study rooms. Comfortable soft seating and 2 large study tables are provided in the lower level.
Wireless network coverage is provided throughout the building. Power is available at all tables and carrel seats to support laptop computers. Two public computers are available for quick access to the library’s electronic resources and one printer is available for photocopying.
