Interlibrary loan is provided to facilitate the academic research of STL students, faculty, and staff. In addition, as a member library, we offer interlibrary loan service to other CALIS members.
Materials can take from a few hours to a few days to arrive from the time they are requested depending on the lending library. Note that some requests may take longer to fill depending on the location, nature and/or availability of the requested item.
Most ILL articles are delivered electronically in PDF format. You will be notified via e-mail when requested documents are available for your use.
Overdue interlibrary loan books incur fines of RMB0.30 per day late to a maximum of RMB 10.00 per item.
You may request no more than 10 items per week.
For articles, the STL Law Library offers non-returnable service. And the cost of this service will be paid by STL.
